Ashton Hawk is a Toronto based artist and medicine person working in mixed-media collage, painting, and mural art.

Her work centres around establishing connections with natural and manufactured landscapes. Symbols, artifacts, and other imageries from these environments, are used to explore the concept of identity: the tensions between a collective identity versus an individual one, and the ways in which identities are created, and change shape over time.

Her work has been supported by the Toronto Arts Council, Ontario Arts Council, and Canada Council for The Arts
